You should always fill the Friendly Accident Declaration (DAAA - Declaração Amigável de Acidente Automóvel) and call the authorities (No. 112). You should report to Auto Green and deliver at our office, in Vilamoura, all the documentation related to the accident (DAAA and authorities’s documents).

The vehicle should be returned to the same time of the pick up (with a tolerance of 30 minutes). After this period is charged 1 extra day.

It can be charged an extra rate, related to the cost of the Return Rate to place of origin, unless it is agreed in advance with Auto Green.

No. All the segments of vehicles available in our fleet can be driven with Driving License for passenger cars an/or small commercial trucks (Category B).

We only make confirmations for the category of vehicle and the group to which it belongs. Auto Green only guarantees the category reserved and not the model. However we will try our best to satisfy the customer with the specific request of the vehicle, with previous notice.

Minimum age of driver and additional drivers is 25 years for all rental vehicles. Drivers must have a valid driving license for at least 2 years. Exceptions: cars can be rented to drivers with ages between 21 - 24 but will be applied a fee, to the young driver, the amount of 40 € per rental per vehicle (without possibility of having an extra young driver).

No. However, in the case of long trips, for example in Spain, you must confirm this by doing a booking simulation, by clicking the option to “cross the border into Spain” (only in this way the insurance will be valid in Spain).

Yes. Auto Green provides a Pick up and Drop off service, through which you no longer have to travel to one of our stations to pick up or drop off your rental car, since it can be delivered and collected in a place agreed on your preference. This service can be requested through our Reservations Center (needs confirmation). This service can be requested in your Online Booking or through our Central Reservations (+351) 289 301 227 - it requires confirmation.

Can be partially or fully reduced by contracting optional insurance, depending on the vehicle and number of days.

If there is a damage of your responsibility during the rental, it will be charged the amount according to the repairs, until the maximum value of the franchise.

Yes. The check out is verified with driver in order to refresh the data constants in the rental agreement. This procedure is repeated on the check in.

Drop off

You can extend the rental duration time in the check in or during the rental. You should contact or go to the nearest Auto Green rental station. The extension depends of the availability of the vehicle and under payment.

Parking tickets and any breach of the Highway Code are the responsibility of the hirer, who must settle before returning the vehicle. For all fines received by Auto Green after the end of the rental, the driver is identified with the authorities. Likewise, all values associated with tolls, SCUT's or similar incurred during the rental are the responsibility of the driver.

For any object left inside our vehicles, please contact our Reservations Center. However, Auto Green accepts no responsibility for items left in the vehicle at the end of the rental agreement.

Yes. Auto Green has the 'Out of Hours' service in order to respond to situations beyond the branches schedule. This service should be asked at least 48 hours before (needs confirmation) by or phone number (+351) 289 301 227.

Please leave your rental vehicle at the same car park where he was picked up - "P4" (Rent a Car). The park "P4" has a system of plate number reading for all registrations of Auto Green's vehicles. When approaching your vehicle the gate will open automatically.
